The Schlessman family has
been producing seed corn and other field seeds for 95 years. It has
been our challenge to meet the needs of generations of progressive
farmers with new hybrids that improve disease resistance, improve
harvestability and ultimately improve yields.
Schlessman hybrids have been bred with performance and
dependability. We have been introducing new traits into our hybrids and
varieties that improve efficiency and enhance convenience to our
customers. Only the most advanced combinations of inbred lines are used
to produce our quality hybrids. Only after these lines are tested for
yield performance and dependability, do they go into production. This
ensures that the seed that you as the farmer plants, has the potential to
consistently produce higher yields of drier grain to provide extra
profit to you.
